Is there someone besides me who thinks that the speed meter increases when it gets inside the closest (early & late) bars?  The meter seems to take off at the speed of light.  I am constantly 'late' when teeing off on this hole.  What is going on?

not noticed anything wrong there or any other hole.

meter does always speed up a bit as it goes towards the sweet spot.

p.s unless you play in a cafe , those internet connections are awesome.

This should be a fact, not only on PB - it was once confirmed by a mod.

It does that on lots of shots, regardless what course you're playing.

So I don't look at the Ding line.

I look at a spot before the Ding line.

If you think about how you swing a real golf club, you accelerate through the ball. The meter does the same thing to a degree and there's a way to deal with it-stare at the ding line and let the swing come into your vision. Trying to follow the moving line is a headache and will always seem to be jerky unless your eyes are in perfect timing with the movement. GL with that. LOL

In a real swing you don't take your eye of the ball nor do you swing the same speed from start to finish-you're faster by the time you hit the ball. Visualize a real swing in tempo with your meter, keep your head down and your eye on the ball.  ;-)

You are not wrong but the speed is always changing not just in early or late part.  It is never the same but usually all the jumping and jittery meter is cause of wgt.  That's the problem I have the biggest problem with
