Maybe you are correct. Maybe it's not about the waitress ignoring your request for water, or the fact that you're even thirsty...it's about why your request isn't taken seriously. Perhaps the waitress simply decided it fell into the category of "drivel" and instead, decided to use her limited time to place an order for un-needed table linen.
I fully understand what this thread is about...but, an endless number of opinions and concerns and suggestions and requests, all with similar themes, have been posted in a wide variety of threads...chronic complainers all?. I also fully understand what your opinion is. Although, "This type of responses is why conversions get derailed" ...did you mean to state: These types of responses are why conversations get derailed?. If so, you should shy away from using words like "cacophony", until you have a better command of the basics.
