I don't know that this is a "Product" suggestion but  if I am using my last ball of a certain type and I don't want to buy the same ball again, why are my only choices is to buy the same ball or use starter balls when I have plenty of other good balls in my bag?

And why does'nt WGT just gradually  diminsh the performance of a ball as it gets older and let us decide to take our expensive balls out of play?  Almost brand new X balls and they take it out of play, and the very next shot I hit another one in the water.

And then to add insult to injury, I buy $20 worth of credits so I can get 3 new and free X Balls and and I did not get the free X Balls.  Is there a better place to complain about this?

Thanks for allowing me to rant & rave!!

Contact Customer Service about the free balls for the credits deposit.  As far as everything else, there have been many posts about the balls "in your bag".  Best description I've heard is to think of those other balls as being in your garage at home and not in your bag.

WGT rules require you to finish a round with the same ball you start with, or the option to finish with the starter ball.  This is the Local Rule as permitted by USGA rules in effect on the courses, and it's not going to change.  It has been addressed before by the moderators many times before.

I would recommend you search the Forum for more posts and info on this subject if you are still not satisfied.

    Good Luck,

The USGA rule is most likely NOT the reason for the one ball restriction here. It is far more likely that the programming of a choice is either not possible the way the code was written or it would be a detriment to the game performance above and beyond existing problems. The same can be said for the inability to break up an iron set allowing a player create their own set of 14 clubs (an example would be substituting a hybrid for a 3 iron - real life rules allow it but you can't in this game).

The USGA rule does not apply to solo rounds and practice rounds where no competition exists and there is no tournament committee. It also is not implemented in low level country club tournaments.

You can contact customer service here.  We don't have any promotion running this week for Max balls.

One of the admins explained this a few years back, see since the beginning, iron set were built in code as a set...after several years and more sets were made, folks players began to ask about swapping clubs...Thing is-as I recall- there were probably 150 "sets" out there at the time....which would mean 150 x 8 of individual clubs to be made and tested.

I think that WGT just didn't want to, or couldn't, put the manpower into a project like that.

But look at the upside, we now have CC Clashes!

Because, in my opinion, it's much better to have the full performance of the ball for the entire life of the ball, rather than its performance diminishing over its life. With the approach you're suggesting, the consistency of how the ball plays would be affected as you play it.

While the way it's set up now isn't perfect, it's workable. That's especially so if a person has found a ball that he or she likes. I pretty much stick with one ball. It helps with muscle memory and with how I expect the ball to play each time on a course.

It would be a great addition to the game, if you were allowed to switch to balls in your inventory, negating defaulting to the starter ball; when a your current ball is taken out of play.

How much are you willing to pay for that addition? You know that WGT a TopGolf company is a for profit company right? Where would the loss of revenue come from by allowing everyone to use up their stock of balls that is in inventory.

The one ball condition is by designed and they will never ever change that. Do as most do and always keep a sufficient supply of your regular ball or suffer the consequence.

It is their sandbox and we all have to play by their rules. No one says you have to like them, just abide them.

First off, what is it worth to change the ball and it's characteristics in the middle of a game? I bet you won't be able to achieve your best score then!

And, it's but a computer game - why put all your hopes and dreams to THAT one game? If it's important, you'll gladly pay for enough balls of the same characteristics, if it ain't, why care at all? You'll get the chance to repeat it right away!
