    Hi,

often when you play like 4 people in a game it might be very long wait between shots. Time you can actually use to work and earn money to buy WGT credits. Now, you never know exactly how long time you have since you might hit first and be closest to pin or you can hit first and be shortest. So you have to check in now and then and that makes any other activities impossible.

So I thought "a small check box that said "click here to be reminded when it is your turn to hit"" would be a cool thing to have. When it's my turn, the game plays a small happy melody for me. I alt-tab to the game screen, shoot, receive and respond to "vn, nup" and "nb" and get back to work.

    Like?

There is already a beep when it is your turn to hit, I rely on it all the time when multi-tasking to know when I'm up.

It is? I have never noticed any. In that case the suggestion should read "make the signal noticable"

The problem is that the "beep" is connected to the volume of the "music", so muting the music also mutes the beep...go figure :)

Ah, that is how it works. Can anyone actually stand that "music"? :)
I really hate games that plays music, I have iTunes.

Another thought on this subject, when in an alt shot game a couple of players will be wearing the same outfits. Been in this situation a couple of times and almost timed out.

This isnt true btw.. its not relative to the music volume and actually coincides with the game volume itself.. as long as game volume is on even if you have the club volume and music volume both turned all the way down.. the menu "dings/beeps" and the "its your turn chime/beep" still are full volume. The only way to turn these off is if you mute the game sound completely by turning it off.

You just not be noticing it..

    This is true,

but they always throw in a couple extra notifications even when it isn't your shot, lol - many times I've been multitasking and heard the notification, only to scamper back to my desk and find that I am still waiting for another payer to hit. . . .
