You give us new balls which are less durable than normal ones, we're your most loyal players and all you do is rip us off. Why is it half a notch less durable?

Why don't you give us a set of clubs like mentioned below instead of all these balls?

How about these sets of equipment, unlocked at level 80, but only if youre a LEGEND. It might give the tour masters insentive to progress and fairer for us legends to compete( with tour masters who are as good as legends but don't try and step up)

    295 yard driver(with meter like r9 tri,half a notch less forgiving)....240 yard wood....

223/120 yard irons.....115 yard wedge......All these unlocked after level 80, ONLY if you're legends.

And before tour masters start shouting "uuugggg this is not Fair",

    a) Doubt WGT will ever make it happen.

    b) It only gives us 10 or so extra yards (enough to get us from 3i to 5i on certain holes)

    c) Progress to LEGEND tier and they'll be there for you (if point a is overturned)

The amount we spend on new balls, we could buy these clubs twice over with the price we have to pay for the damn things, so why not give the new clubs to us, it would make all the legends happier, more incentive to lower tiers to progress AND WE' WOULD STILL BUY NEW BALLS...So why not eh, WGT????

Chris, what validates your argument? The Legend GI2-SD2 golf ball is ample to play all courses in the Legend tier. The Callaway ball is just a bonus.

How much better can a set of irons get then the i15 irons, or a 280 yard driver? The Legend player has everything they need to post low scores, and earn credits. I understand you wanting WGT to implement something to spark a need for a player to advance, but new equipment for the Legend player isn't the answer.

I'm not defending WGT, but they need to make money to keep the lights on, and for us to keep playing a game we all love. If sales are bleak, their bleak. WGT has to do something to keep the revenue stream flowing for the above things to take place. Imagine logging-in one day and getting a message that WGT is closed!

Its more to do with REWARD for being a legend. Even an amateur can buy my clubs if he' wants to.  Its to be able to compete realistically with the tour masters who don't want to become a legend (and a exclusive incentive for the TM's that do)

People would still buy balls, would you want a 5hit ball with your new legend clubs?

It would be EVEN MORE revenue for WGT, not less, how many legends would rush out to buy new clubs even if they're 5 yards extra per club???

The validation is that he has to complain about something.  He's complained about everything else umpteen times, so this is just the next one in line.  There are at least 25 complaints a day from him.

Chris - you are meant to be good, that is why you are a legend.  Now act like one!  Or, get your account deleted, set up another one and be a hack.  Your choice.

In a way it was too late to even out the playing field when they made the 280 yard driver available to tour masters on down, coz of the driver wedge thing we have all wanted to avoid too.  Ten more yards easy is what I hear. But don't forget wgt can change those specs and still do the legend driver. So do I buy the 280 yarder and risk having it go obsolete is another gripe, at level 78 and a half but still at about two weeks away. But I hear your plight, as a legend I too feel used with the 2 ball durability feeling like a we legends got the ever increasing in volume spit in the face. Wgt is just hurting themselves in my case as it only adds up to a lot less play by me on a game with so much potential.

    Chris,

Even though in principle I can understand what you mean, your post sounds like it is based on the frustrations of being a legend player that cannot now compete and believes that throwing more money at the game will improve the odds of winning.

Longer hitting clubs for legends only would be a nice to have yes, but at what cost?

There must be hundreds of legends here that simply will not be able to afford the wildly inflated prices that would be put on any new clubs and this would ultimately create a wedge (lol) within the legend ranks.

New clubs will come out without us needing to initiate it as wgt cannot afford to stand still but until they put some sort of restrictions/limits on the attributes of lower tiered members then us legends need to find the skill (or luck?) to compete.

To many Legends as there are only around 50-100 that should have been promoted. The rest should have stayed in the TM or Master tier though WGT felt they should move many more that did not belong. . JMO

Exactly it is cause of the fear of being pushed even further away from the guys at the top that I would much prefer things to stay as they are... I like the challenge of the tees and although the better TM's are annoying to deal with, I think we'll just have to cope

    ^^^

Blue gets it!  I'm one Legend who struggles in AS, and match play vs TMs because I spot them 30 to 40 yds off the tees. I'm also not sure the the Level 80 driver will help me cuz I can't hit the old R9.

This disparity can still be corrected by WGT

Move the 100 or so elite players to Tour Legend on the champ tees.

The remaining Legends get moved back to the blue tees and keep the Tourn. speed greens.

I wouldn't even mind a few longer holes than the TMs, but WGT would need to find a way to use the black yardages from the blue tees.

    Great idea Andy,

But are you 100% sure that wgt would choose the correct 100 or so Elite Legends?

Remember what happened when they changed us from master to legend ... What a balls up that was lol
