  BC wins 3 up vs RoyCozart in The Grande Oaks Jets vs Cosa Nostra matchup

  Roy and I had us a fun round.....as much fun as Merion can afford us anyway lol.  Several WTF shots and I still can't figure out what was up with the 8mph winds playing closer to 30 but we made a few shots here and there.  Well played Roy!

  Grand Oaks v Cosa Nostra

  MikeWilleford (Legend) v Big Knight (Champ)

  Mike and I just came off the course in our semifinal match at Merion

  I birdied 1 to go 1up, both birdied 2, parred 3, and then I had to concede 4. So we go to 5 AS. Both parred 5 & 6. Mike birdied 7 to go 1up. Unfortunately after that, his putter abandoned him....he had absolutely NO luck. I was fortunate to birdie 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13 to swing it around to 4up for Cosa Nostra. After pars on 14, I stuffed one at 15 after Mike's approach rolled back off (as has happened to all of us many times), and was able to close out the match.

  I thoroughly enjoyed our match Mike, great conversation and had a few more putts fallen for you, things could have gone a different way.

  Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my whooping I received from BigKnight...great player but a better guy. I would take lessons from Geof anytine. Well played Sir and gl to all that have yet to play.

  Just finished my game with Wayne, sirbiffo and enjoyed a good start to lead 3up early and held that margin although Wayne tried valiantly to claw back.

  I was determined not to see it go to a concede on 18 and clinched it on the 16th 4 &2.
