You guys must have been in the 2some ahead of me and Tazzy because we just finished, too. I got him 44- 39 (35 +4) but he scared me straight! LOL. He can hang and had me at the turn by a point but ran into some trouble on the back. His meter wasn't being real nice to him, either, but he made some really nice putts.
The shot of the match was his and instantly got him back in the match. I had overcome the handicap by the 3rd hole and on that monster par 4 4th, he goes wide left on his approach to a fringe shot and I trickle on way right, a mile away.
He's up first and damned if he doesn't can the shot for a birdie. A double bogey by me puts him right back on top and we played pretty much AS the rest of the front. He was in good shape by 12 with a 3 point lead but then ran into some trouble while I staved off panic. A few unfortunate shots later the lead was gone and his meter started playing hell with him again. I think the Flash bug got him but by the time I realized it we were on 17.
On a better day I think Taz gets me because he has game. And he did say Bubbs told him to tell me I had to subtract 10 points at the end. Har, har, Bubby, I was wise to you. LOL ;-)
