ZioMio: hatcojack: when i right click on "play now" box it says i have version 16.0.0.235, but when i check my installed programs it says 11.9.900.170. when i check for update on adobe site it says i have version 20,0,0,306 installed? needless to say i am totally confused! but i guess i am ok. If you do the right click in the browser you want to check and then click on "About Adobe Flash" it will take you to the Adobe site and show your version for that browser.

I'm using Chrome, version 20.0.0.306. Works pretty good. That's for me that is. I find everybody has different problems using any browser

ZioMio:When all else fails, just check the version with the properties in windows explorer. Just locate your Maxthon 3\Core\Webkit\Npplugins folder and have a look. You can see that I changed back from the ver. 20.306 by renaming the dll file.

I wonder why we can get away with just 'copy and pasting' flash in Maxthon, yet we have to 'install' flash updates in other browsers......or do we?

You do have the three choices;
So I'm guessing you can do it manually in other browsers if you want to use an older version like I do in Max 3.
I'm not sure how Maxthon 4 Cloud handles the update but 3 needs to be done manually. Those instructions are posted somewhere on here.
ZioMio: Allow adobe to install updates Notify me to install updates Never check for updates
I always tick the 'Notify me' box. Then I can choose if I want the latest version installed
Hi, i dont have the folder webkit, were i must past npswf ? i need help to upload the flash from maxthon. i have maxthon 4.9.2...
I'm not sure you can do that anymore with Max 4 Arthur, as they have changed their engines from webkit & trident, to blink & trident.
Perhaps stepping back to Max 3 would be worth considering. (History products, bottom of the page).
But, according to other sources in this forum, you will need to disable the update mechanism in Max 3 to prevent being upgraded automatically to Max 4. The executable file that does this is named MxUp.exe and can be found in the Bin folder within Maxthon's program file folders. Disabling it is just a matter of renaming or deleting the file. I prefer renaming as then it is easily recoverable should you wish to do so.
hi scott, thank you for the info, finaly i can do it , like you tell me and i fine these help, i put here to help others, abd thank you for the help,
