Match play Tournaments and WGTLS

  Why WGT have never organized a mp tournament? There is an organization (WGTLS) that has already faced all the pertinent problematics and knows how to managed it. There are also some players that organized tournaments here with great capacity to manage the spreadsheets. Personally I love mps and I think that the real best player is the one best in mps and not in solitary rounds. What about a Championship? 

  Between, why a lot of players plays daily mps and they never play in WGTLS where everything is well organized with a higher level of playing? Byeeee

  Very good thoughts Tamsach.

  Every month maybe :

  Week 1      Single Play, Qualifying Round.  Top 64 progress.

  Week 2      Round 1 & 2

  Week 3      Round 3 & Qtr Final

  Week 4      SF & FINAL

  If matches are incomplete, the highest seeded player progresses to next round.

  Sure there will be glitches, but if every player is determined (We call it fair dinkum in Australia).

  I believe this would be cherished by all the really good players here to be crowned the MONTHLY MATCHPLAY CHAMPION.
