This is a post one of my club members sent to WGT and posted:

I and probably everyone on wgt are fed up with frozen screens, blue screens, white screens and other disconnections especially but not always during match play and alt shot games. How many times I have been in such a game and been 2 or more shots up only to lose by default due to the 3 strikes and out rule. For the last time, what are you doing to sort this problem out? I have spent a lot of money on wgt and I feel let down to a big degree. Please do not fob me off with a standard answer I and everyone else want action and we want it now please. As of today I am going to use up all the free balls I have collected from you and then only use starter balls. Not one dollar more will be spent until this is resolved.

    My post that followed:

I encourage everyone in our club to do this. I will pass it on to other clubs too. A 1 month total boycott of buying balls would mean big money for WGT. Hitting them in their pocket book is about the only real message that we can send them that they will have to address. Who knows we may have a great response from other WGT members.

    Robbie

Whilst i fully agree with you, it just aint gonna happen, even if everyone who reads these forums ( which is probably only a small percentage of players ) was to follow your lead it would barely register a ripple with WGT but i applaud your efforts

I tried to read it but it hurt my eyes.   Good luck.

Using the white rocks might just improve a lot of people's games. Just learning to hit the ding 30% of the time with the rock is a major feat. And when you return from a month in the hinterlands you might just decide that the challenge in the game is using all starter equipment with the white rocks. Then you could really proclaim victory over the WGT people who keep programming all of these awful conditions into a multi-player app that is based somewhere other than your computer.

This kind of revolution is managed by "Abstimmung mit den Füßen" here - vote with the feet.

Ev1 is free to look out for fun elsewhere.

Even if successful, the obvious reply is....every-other-day CC Clashes!

I once played a tournament round at my local golf course and it rained the whole round.  You have no idea how annoyed I was. I found the lack of concern for the welfare of the members simply staggering.  Rain during a round?  Unbelievable.

I never went back, my clubs sat in a corner and the grass stuck in the grooves from that round slowly went mouldy.  I never played golf again.

I consider that to be a massive moral victory.

The only time you'll get a total boycott of WGT is when TG decides to close the doors.

Until then, I'll continue as I always have.
