Dont you realise that it was a tongue in cheek sarcastic coment????

No, I didn't PGA. I apologize if you thought I was pounding on you. Another guy knocked me for LOLs, LMAOs and Hehs. Maybe now he can understand why I use them-avoids this kind of confusion.  ;-)

From what ive seen with Jim theres 1 of 2 ways to take his posts.. either sarcastic and humorous.. or actually inquisitive... you wont see to many posts that are actually meant to be negative...

Wasn't knocking anybody - was just commenting on the unnecessary response to the valid complaint, at least from my perspective. Now, on to bigger and better things.

PGA - try the search box for VEM or 'The Beast' and you will soon have your answer for these deviations. They are programmed into the game to keep it challenging, like it or not.

But being programmed into the game which will cost you a $ a pop for it happening shouldn't be right should it, thats what i was trying to point out, if "Deviation" is going to happen, then it should be to put you in bunker or in rough, not costing you a ball.  No one would mind loosing a ball if it was they who had messed up shot, but a game programmed to loose you a ball, is what i stated (a bit harshly on WGT, sorry) stealing??

This is preposterous Chris. There's no friggin programmed variable that specifically causes you to lose a ball. How come I have never, and yes, I said never, lost a ball because the game hosed me? I can count on one hand he number of balls I have lost and all of them were due to me, not some ridiculous programmed plot to steal one.

FWIW, the only place I have ever lost a ball is on SA4 into the gorse bushes, always because I missed the hit and KIA 17, again because I missed the hit. I did lose one a long time ago at SA14 when it rolled into the other fairway but that was a learning experience for me.

Stop with the tin foil hat stuff. Please.

LIke i've just lost a ball now on B'page 3 due to me forgetting to change to a wood from driver off a tee, which i don't mind because it was my error but to loose a ball on wolf creek 9 with wind going left to right, a dinged shot travell so far left its unbeleivable...thats what i don't like, other people have posted that it could be deviation, so its not right that deviation causes you to loose a ball....my errors fair enough, doesn't bother me. You might be lucky and never had it happen to you, but if my shot WAS deviation, shouldn't the shots be put anywhere on the course other than a place where you can loose a ball?

I have to agree with Chris, because the other day, i dinged shot, but i heard a clunk like a miss hit, and ball flew into water, it left me puzzled because it was no where near my aim point, but luckily it was only a free ball.  Its only happened the once lossing a ball, but i get shots that go wayward quite often, but i put it down to my clubs, unless ball goes opposite to wind direction then that is a freak shot!

I believe both of you and also believe that deviation thing exists. I have WTF moments too. My point was that it isn't designed to "steal" your ball.

I understand that, but if that does incur you to lose a ball, you'd be extra annoyed, and it should be overriden to make you not loose a ball, maybe as close as possible to a hazard, but not actualy in one!

Chris, taking nothing away with your game play, but you are (imo) beginning to sound/act a little juvenile...big time. You have progressed rapidly through this game, recording impressive scores, earning alot of credits and now that you've reached the top tier, the impressive scores and credits are not quite so easy to come by.

So now most of your posts are bi<>ching or negative comments that it's something or someone's fault other than your inability to adjust to the most challenging this game has to offer.

Come on bro', suck it up. We all get frustrated w/this game at times. Heck I quit and swear off this game at least twice a day...........every day for the last 9-months!
