I must say that a lot of the the "better" players do not have any trace of the gentlemenship of golf.

As soon as they see that they are losing, then leave the game.

I find this very rude, un-gentlement like and surely not sporting.

Come on guys, man up ,take a beating like a man!

If you make an effort to tier up then perhaps your match-play games may become less one-sided.

    Welcome to the Internet.

Bad manners, displaying a lack of sophistication, and un-gentlemanly behavior is unfortunately a lot easier if a person is essentially anonymous and can hide behind a computer.

Acting that way face to face with someone may get you a slap up the side of the head, or a swift kick in the groin.

I agree that a person quitting a game is poor form and childish. But what tiers are you referring to?, when you suggest they should take a "beating like a man".  You are a level 47 Pro, using all starter kit (save driver) and a range ball, and sport a 93+ avg. There is no record of any match play games and your alternate record is 4-5.

I can't imagine you beating very many (if any) better players. Yet you say "a lot" of them behave poorly when you do?.

Ah yes, to quit a game you are losing is one thing...but to quit on a sand-bagging multi - accounter?...well, that's just completely over the top.

I think that the only match stats that show up are the one's played against people on his friend's list (no matches yet). Playing random people will only show in the activity at the bottom of profile.

I object to this thought. Look at my stats - it shows a general list, separated by tiers, and a list of friends who played me.

Disclaimer: The list is old and wouldn't reflect recent changes.

I agree with your sentiments exactly. this really pisses me off a lot. Am a fairly new player and always keen for a game and also what gets up my nose is people who kick you out of a game in the lobby.

They were all lower tiered players once upon a time.

I must admit I do enjoy beating somebody of a much higher tier and who owns flash equipment etc lol

I create at least one multiplayer game pretty much every day.

Being the one that created the game, I have every right to decide who does, or doesn't, get to join me.

You seem to think you're entitled to join a game someone else created. Why?
