    Lily,

The Directors at the CC I belong to share ownership.  When transferring to the "New Owner" we always make sure that all permissions in the Owners tools are checked for all levels of members, except recruits.  Then have the new owner go in and double check that the settings he wants are still checked after the transfer.  That has worked the last 2 times I took over the ownership here.

I am delighted to hear that you are just scaling back and not leaving completely.  I guess i got the wrong perception from you 1st post.  There will still be that bright ray of light you've brought to WGT shining on us all.

    Take care my friend.

    Jeff

    SP,

Is "transfer club ownership" in owner's tools not working? It worked fine for us when Poyz7 transferred ownership of the Golf Masters Club to me last month.

    SweetiePie:

Easy Ed,,,only if it is not too much to peruse, the secret ways you and Courtney had to dig for are most interesting to me...perhaps others.

You should have a PM with the way we did it.   :-)

    SweetiePie:

my respect for Courtney and the single handed determination she applied to develop a CC without peer is a fascinating example of her excellence. Her effort with it is stunning. Where is she? It seems she is missing.I see no record of her. Was it her punishment?

For 3 years and 2 months Courteney spent 99.5% of her free time dedicated to building The Peoples Club. I too have nothing but respect for her dedication to gathering together such a fine group of members.

Right now Courteney is finally getting the break she so richly deserves - actually even took a holiday away from the Isle of Man for the first time in 4 years.

As for me I am retired with a younger wife who still desires to work - so I have 9 hours I day I can dedicate to The Peoples Club and keep it sailing smoothly on the course laid out so well by Courteney.

    SweetiePie:

I don't want to quit, only cut way back until another time, so to speak. It seems you two were able to pull it off but without simplicity which confuses the way it should be. Any help or tips are welcome as I fiddle with this amazing saga. ~ Lily ~

Glad to hear it. Stay well.

    EE
