    EasyEdward:

    Hi Ed,
Thank you for the message back. If you believe that this will harm your eyes in some way, I would suggest you take what ever steps you believe to be necessary. Unfortunately there isn't plan on adding a way to disable them at this time.

    Hi,
Thank you for your message. Unfortunately there is no way to remove the new animations. We have been hearing from many players voicing their opinion with the new text animations in the game. We have heard you and are working toward a solution to the issue. Thank you for your patience.

    Sincerely,

My advise is to keep sending emails to customer service. this was the most idiotic idea for this game. The tech who thought of it should win the dumbass of the year award.

Other ideas to increase the devastating effect:

    Alosso,

another idea would be place this in the game options so it would be our choice to turn this off. I'm a welder and right now i have an eye infection from a scratched lens and welders flash on top of it, so when this light goes off it sends pain to the optic nerve. After  i got back from the emergency room last night, just to get my daily login, knowing this is going to hurt dearly. i played a cth and tried not to look after i swung, took me sometime to get this game in, but even through my struggles seeing i managed to hit 1ST place in the february RSG challenge. Looks like CTH games to eye gets better or they fix it.

This bright flashing has got to be removed.  Who benefits from this ? Who wants this ?

It's difficult to play 18 holes under these conditions.  I might have to consider playing games of hearts or checkers to pass the time if this is not removed.  I can not believe that WGT can not give players the option to remove this.

Thank you WGT - you are so considerate...

The steps I have taken is to just play 1 random hole to keep my consecutive days going and that's it.

I would think they would be concerned about losing money, but from the above reply it shows they really don't care if we play or not.

For those this bothers, have you tried wearing sunglasses to play?

I require reading glasses to play. Sunglasses won't work unless I'm prepared to pay for prescription sunglasses, which incidentally, I don't feel I should have to.

I would be a shame to lose such a nice new feature for a handful of players who are handicapped.

Please do us as a community a favour and remove yourself from this discussion. You do yourself no good by making such remarkably insensate observations.

    Thank you.
