The interesting thing is Bubbs is that two moderators have been on.
Yesterday it was ShamWow - you can tell he created a CC.
Today it was Icon - you can tell he accepted 2 new friend requests.
So for all those that say it is totally shameful for WGT to not say a word one has to wonder exactly what the heck is going on down there in San Francisco (I live in Oregon).
Either the moderators were told to shut up on Friday or they decided to start speaking to their corporate counsel and are under orders not to say anything, or they are just plain crazy.
I am not sure which it is, but it does make one wonder.
On an issue mentioned elsewhere in this and other posts:
While I am a retired attorney and have certification to practice law in the Federal Courts in California I would question WGT's need to warn is an action that would end in a fast and furious Temporary Restraining Order from a Federal Court mandating them to take it off the game immediately. More likely the Court would agree that if WGT posts the warning as a pop-up before each game is started they would fulfill that duty.
At the end of the lawsuit where the temporary restraining order was sought - the Court would make their initial Order the Final Ruling and what we would get is the same harmful flashing messages but with a pop-up warning us.
There are much better legal actions then the duty to warn.
