You can turn it off:
- Go to Menu
- Choose the Game Settings button
- Next choose the Audio tab
- Scroll to the bottom and you will find the Game Commentary.
- You may then completely turn off the sounds or scroll until the best setting is found

Just out of interest Champion. How come you guys are quick to reply to trivial posts like this but remain silent to the very serious problem with the flashing light. Just an acknowledgment that you have made a massive error and an apology for all the trouble it's causing would be nice.
What are the Mods supposed to say?..that their IT guys are a bunch of incompetent morons? At the very least, the IT guys don't understand their customer base. The programmers are probably young and provide things young people appreciate, ergo, lots of light and sound. But, the Mods also work for WGT...they act as a PR department of sorts (spin doctors). They aren't gonna point fingers, or agree with complaints that make their employer look bad. Instead, they provide continual work arounds for the problems the IT dept keeps saddling us with.
I just don't see that changing. Most companies (especially monopolies) work the same way. The only thing that will motivate positive change, is another golfing site that is comparable...competition seems to resolve a lot of issues.
