This by no means is an advantageous change for the casual player, except for the TM's and Masters.
Of course steelers you are assuming that only us scummy TM's get an unfair advantage, real or perceived, over legends. Nothing like playing a pro or tour pro at level 80 or above that has all the equipment to whip a TM pink butt teing off from the ladies. No.
Yet, no TM's throw their toys out of the cot as some legends; we just get on with it.
You are assuming steelers and assumption is he mother of all mistakes. ;)
I, personally, can't wait to become a legend - I'd love to. But I guess that unless WGT gifts that tier to me I will never have the pleasure as I have reached my potential as a crappy player. How fair would it be then if I cannot access the enjoyment of spending my money on new gear?
No assumptions bud. Of course, it wouldn't apply to the TM's/Masters like you. Unfortunately, the group with your mindset and approach to the game is a small one.
As this thread is titled "being a legend" I didn't stoop down to bring up anyone below master. The same sensibility that has been mentioned at times in this thread is applicable as you've stated.
Again, I'm not assuming. I remind you that the majority of the complaining is coming from those that woke up a Legend one day after the change, and rarely from those achieved it after such.
Buying new equipment is every members right. However, when WGT made the changes in September the level playing field, one based on skill and not equipment, was eliminated. This is the major complaint among the legends.
Mind you, all of the legends are not complaining. I for one have never complained. I do however sympathize with my legend brothers and sisters. Asking WGT to re-institute a level playing field is not too much to ask; make the game more about skill than equipment like it used to be.
