WGT, about a month ago, i logged on to see i was a member of a CC i never asked to join. I didnt know what was going on, and came to the forum to put my thoughts up. It was then i saw a post about someone else who had this happen to them.
In that thread, it was explained that the person may have inadvertantly hit on a CC in the "join a country club today " window that pops up when you open the game client. I took it with a pinch of salt that this is what happened to me. So i have been careful when opening the client, making sure to hit the close button before i do anything else.
Now i know its definately a bug of some sort. I was on here yesterday reading the forums about the petition and the other threads of the same sort. I then opened the client, did my usual careful closing of the window, and started a game. Immediately i was asked if i wanted to use a pass. I closed the client window, clicked on my profile, and there i was again, a member of another club i didnt ask to join.
I went to my emails to see the congrats email on joining so and so, and looked at the time. It was sent in the last hour of me being on the forums here. I had not got the game client window in that time, so know it wasnt my mistake.
Im not sure if this has been addressed in any other thread, but just wanted you to know whats happening. Is anyone else still having this trouble?
