  As a side note, this (#12) may well be one of the best opportunities to score an albatross, as in  probably a dozen attempts I've managed to get 4.5' and 2.5' from the pin .

  HIO is possible. Here's one of my friends, trevfromoz, hitting a hole in one there using starter balls (brave man!). It includes an Opy-esque brush with the brush on the way in. lol

  I'm still waiting on one, been close a couple of times but nothing significant worth saving.

  There's also a good route for hitting an eagle putt when perched on the right hand hill, again courtesy of a friend:

  I guess an Ace here also counts as a Double Eagle...does a player get credit for both?

  Not sure as he's got 2 double eagles and 6 aces...! I'll check with him when I next see him.

  Funny thing is both ended up close but very different yardage given.

  I did not realize the yardage was measured along the entire path instead of a straight distance.

   They DO count as both. My first " official" ace ( in a ranked round) was on the 9th hole at St. Andrews .....I got credit for both the HIO and the Double Eagle.
