Logout Issue

  Ok.. first off.. I had nothing to be able to submit because i guess it wasnt technically an error so right clicking and trying to report something would do no good.

  But... I was in the middle of a multiplayer ranked round and i had the main site open in a seperate browser in the background, and literally in the middle of an opponents swing for no reason.. the game logged me out completely on both the game window and the main window.. with no message of any kind.

  I wasn't hitting any keystrokes or mouse clicks at the time so that wasnt the case.

  Not quite sure what happened to be honest..

  On a side note though.. once logged back in the game started running about 1/4% faster than normal... weird.

  Happens to me about twice a week. I've started threads on it before but got no joy from the powers that be. Nice to know I'm not alone though.

  Hi,

  I have been seeing few other reports of this happening. I suspect it's flash interaction with other flash objects. We always recommend to play the game in the window and having nothing else open so there is less chance of something getting in the way.

  I realize that sometimes it's nice to have browser open and such, I do it too, but ideally, in order to have the best gaming experience, we recommend closing everything but the game window

  Copy and paste this link [http://www.wgt.com/gameclient.aspx] in your address bar, then bookmark the game-client. It makes life a lot easier. Use full-screen (F-11) in Firefox by clicking view on the menu bar.   : )

  I understand thats wgt's suggestion but, i have always had things running in the background and that was the first time i was logged out of the game.. ive gotten errors before, but never just been logged out randomly.. so i was just making sure you guys are aware since there was nothing to "report"

  I do one better.. i use Prism to open the link to suggested and the main wgt site.. As their own web application seperate from the browser completely.. therefore taking your suggestion (which alot of people do and it works fine).. and going one step further...

  So I know it's not that either, been doin that since day 1.

  I heard ya, On a personal level, I do the same and sometimes I get logged out too. Mind you I switch between several accounts + several browsers, so I am not surprised when it happens to me

  But, I also recommend not to do this to keep the game as stable as possible.

  I just experienced the same thing twice today. Once in a multiplayer game, later while playing a Strokeplay Game by myself with hardly anything else running except the main Home page of WGT in a different window

  I'll try & follow the suggestions above but in case there've been any further changes in the 'Game' & any other Configuration tips available, please post it
