VegasWade:
I'm starting to like you, Apex. In two posts today you've posted the same thing I've been saying here about alleged disconnection issues, although my version was a little less refined than yours. Like you, I maintain a clean computer, have a screaming Internet connection and update the proper files. I don't have disconnect issues, although I'm told I need to play more AS games or keep my mouth shut; I've been doing a lot of match play. I actually believe it is a very small, but extremely vocal forum minority that have such issues.
I did post some tips on my profile for other players having these alleged disconnection issues, but perhaps it should be addressed in a separate thread, i.e., "How to maintain a clean computer void of game disconnects."
It's nice knowing I'm not 'the sound of one hand clapping'.
A vast majority of regular WGT players do not participate in these forums. Players that do regularly participate in these forums that don't have problems don't often post that information which distorts the appearance of how many players have game play issues with disconnects, slow loading, blue screens, game freezes, etc.
I don't doubt that many players have disconnect, slow loading, blue screens, and game freeze problems but because not all players have those issues indicates the player's own computer is the most likely suspect as the source of those kinds of trouble.
