With all the time you have, maybe improve your 68 avg??

that is pretty bad for a 100+ level player.

more play and less typing with no advice !

This was about the Rsi Irons, I use them and they work like a dream , no change in them lately.

Work great with any ball, I have them mapped with 90, 81,61 , 40 nikes, and the 45 callaway.

...admittedly, I am not a very good player. But I play Alt with my friends and enjoy that very much....(along with the movies, wine, trolling, spring days, etc)

...I thought I provided you with some very good advice...oh well.

Just wondering if anyone else that uses them has noticed this too

I haven't noticed anything - have had them for a while

While discussing these with someone a while ago, he suggested that they may work differently with different balls

I usually use the Cally L33 and the Srixon L11 and because of the ball attributes I get different action (of course)

When I 1st got them I noticed a difference with varying degrees of BSpin - it seems to stop better when at 80% than at FBS - or maybe its just my impression

Have you changed to a different ball recently ?

I also notice variances when I "miss the ding" - but that is probably me thinking I have the 5 when I grabbed the 6

Maybe take them to the practice and hit there (with mully's of course); that should show you something

    Good Luck

    Luciano

More spin missed dings will always hurt you more, more air time to bend !

for all the balls I use , they both have the same stopping power.  , 80% spin just goes 2-5 yards longer depending on what ball you use.

I am using the nike 81 now, it stops 171 yards with full spin, and 174 with #74 or close to your 80% , no roll just a bit more length.

I have only used the lvl 33 callaway for putting training when I am bored, so I would not know the length on those shots.

I have 5  callaway 33's left so might give map them out soon.

I map Irons on Beth 10,11,12 , it takes some time but is worth it in the end.

anyone asking for mapping are welcome to ask me as usual.

Luciano18 yes of course irons will function differently with diff balls, and the higher the level the more so (more expertise needed).  Basically listen to Sig.  If Sig is offering mapping take it.....Honestly whilst I have not played properly for a while, FWIW just IMO, do not blame clubs or balls............Read the 19th hole in the WGT news this week.  Bloke there talks a great deal of sense as does Sig.  No issues with the OP asking, just that is what it is - IMHO.

I don't notice any less accuracy, but inconsistent and less forgiveness have been frustrating me since I bought them ( 3 months). I had been playing RZN Black since I made L90. I am CERTAIN that when I first started using the RZN Black balls they were rated at 4.5 for spin, but now are rated at 4.6. The RSI2's have more spin than my old L85 Nikes. If I dial up full b/s and hit a shot from say 165...it really does seem that the distance is inconsistant. Playing a practice round,I get similar distances on hitting the same shot+mulligans on the same shot,so it is not the club that is inconsistant. But they are a lot different than the L85 Nikes. I played a sleeve of L81 XL-X,and it started to get more clear. Be a LOT more careful with the b/s on all shots. It's really easy to scrub off 10-12 yds by dragging that green dot all the way down and givin it a rip.The difference between 20% b/s and 50% b/s is greater that I ever thought.Truth be told ,just as a prior poster commented, the RSI2's will check up with consistant distance and windage using as little as 20% b/s for most shots. When hitting the 3 iron with a 15mph tailwind it will still check up like a ProV1 with as little as 50% b/s.Try using less b/s......see if your distance control starts making sense again.....

Using too much b/s causes too much  movement with sidewinds...that might be your reason for thinking that they are innaccurate...they're moving a lot more if you over cook the b/s.

I have noticed it too. I just a ball that should go  175 yards. Side wind of 3-5 mph and it went 160 yards, and that was off the fairway

    Thanks for the responses...

All things being equal (wind, balls, backspin, dinging - not dinging...etc.) I must be imagining it.

Ive been using the same balls and have been playing with these clubs for over 6 months - which I do like very much until recently - just wondering if there has been a programming bug that could have effected them and  perhaps others are having a similar issue too?  must be a weird phase

    Cheers

As was stated, the RS12's have impressive attributes. As for myself, before I went to the Vapor100's I used the L-97 irons (can't remember the brand) that offered amazing numbers in all areas. I liked them. Did very well with them, but like the RS12, shared the same meter speed of 3.0. I am a solid 3.5 meter gal and the 0.5 difference, was the difference. I was off just a tiny amount, landing mostly a pixel past the white line. Not much of a deal, but still a deal that would have my mind thinking of it. Thinking of it enough to slightly foul up a ding. Forcing thoughts that could produce slight early or slight late results. Perhaps this is a part of your concern. Meter harmony is so important.
