Problem with "free" rental club

  I just advanced to level 88. I  selected a new driver to use when I leveled up. I played a few rounds last night and after an hour or two I was asked to either purchase the club or remove it from my bag. I didn't want to use all my credits on a modestly better driver so I selected "remove" even though I thought I had at least 20 more hours to use it. I replaced in my bad with my good old driver and tried to play another round. Unfortunately when I tried to play I get an "error" saying I had an expired club in my bag ! So now I cant play at all. What is going on? Any help out there? This is the second time this has happened. I use to look forward to leveling up but now it just locks me out of the game for 23 hours unless I buy the club offered.

  It's a flaw of ten months which apparently need not be fixed. :(

  User's workaround:

  - enter "Change Equipment",

  - disregard the faulty club,

  - equip and unequip other clubs until the SAVE button becomes green,

  - SAVE whatever you have,

  - leave the equipment section and re-enter (this might be dispensable),

  - enter "Change Equipment" again and set up the clubs that you want.
