Average score bug..

   I was promoted up 1  level to Master.. average score was 66.29. I had one more round at PAR and the average went to 76. I had another 9 holes and the average score has now gone to 79!!!!... can anybody help??

  This is normal for having entered Master. When you change tiers your average goes up to reflect the increased challenge of the new tier.

  Actually it starts afresh. Your first round as a Master was a 38 so your average became 2x 38=76.

  It wasn't a par, it was a +2 for a 38. Courtney already explained the rest. Your avg will saturate after 40 ranked rounds and only go down from there.

  And went to 79 because of your 41.

  38 x 2 (to make an equivalent 18 hole score) = 76

  41 x 2 = 82

  76 + 82 / 2 = 79 your new average score at the new Master tier.

  After 38 more ranked round scores (40 total) your average will no longer be able to go up, only down.
