All CC's have drama to some degree...all of them. The reason is they have people. From all walks of life, backgrounds, life's experiences, varying opinions, different genders, religions, good moods, bad moods, different ages, etc.  This may be a virtual game, but the people are real. Just look at what goes in here vis-a-vis drama. Many reality shows are based on throwing a group of people into a common area, and filming them being themselves...drama will break out... Families?, yup, lots of drama there as well.

CC's claiming to be drama free are selling snake oil...people expecting a drama free environment are naive.

Dead wrong. You saw first hand how drama gets handled by us in that other thread and that was brought on by an outsider. Speak for yourself and your CC, it just doesn't happen in ours.

Jim, if the case you cite wasn't such a clear cut example of disrespect by Fatty and Co., the back and forth might still be on going. You've read these threads. These are people from many different CC's. And, let's be honest, It's much easier to deal with this stuff from outsiders as you can simply shut them down...you can't do that with your members, or you eventually end up with a CC of one. When human emotions of any kind are involved...some degree of drama will ensue. Why do you think so many people keep requesting, and CC's keep advertising, a "drama free" environment. ?  It's because for all their searching, it hasn't yet been found. I'm happy where I am, and you seem to be also. We are lucky.

anyway..to avoid any drama, we should agree to disagree on this one..lol

    Hi Dave

Take a look at The Real Masters and Disasters.  Fun CC with lots going on but no pressure whatsoever on how you want to enjoy the game.

Active website with chat rooms to get to know a few people and put the world to rights.

    Hi Dave,

I've been trawling through the CC listings for a new club and am still scratching my head !

I even had one owner refuse my friend request recently - I was hoping to ask him about his club's level of activity prior to me applying for membership !

Anyway, good luck with your search.

Or at least concede that you, yourself are an outsider and are making a broad assumption that definitely does not fit Cosa Nostra.  I could live with that. :-)

I was an "outsider" when I jumped to CN's defense as well. If your CC is completely devoid of any drama, then I (and the many sociologists who have studied human behavior) sincerely apologize.

Jim, I wasn't equating drama with disrespect...I included my own CC, of which I am very proud...but not to the point of being blind to it's flaws or human nature. But, like every assumption, even those seemingly obvious, I will admit that I was wrong to broad brush all CC's with having some degree of drama.

ps. Just don't send Luca after me

.just to be clear, we are still talking about virtual CC's, and not controlled cults or something, right?

In name only. It's more like a collection of friends with something in common that respect each other and their differences.
