Just bought these. Played a few rounds and some shots were coming up WAY short. So i went to Kiawah to map them out.

My 3, 4 and 5 irons all play 10 yards short. Every other club is fine. I play L97 Nike irons. Even switched over to my old R11s that i still have. Same thing.

Anyone else having this issue, or did a get a bad sleeve lol.

    Waste of $7.

    Playing any spin?

I'm playing the same balls (less vapor trail) and have seen no such issues.

They were highly reviewed, why i bought them. SweetiePie gushed over them and i would take her word on any equipment.

In the grand scheme of things, its only $7. But i will never buy them again, especially after the email i got back from customer service.

Its not like Im new to the game, i know there are occasional issues with a shot here and there. But this happpens every single shot with those 3 clubs.

Thanks for your feedback though. Appreciated.

You should always clear your flash and browser cache when you make a change in balls or clubs. There is always a chance that you could have files left over from your old equipment.

Is it the 1st time you played with them? What are the ones which you use normally?

Each 1/2 of spin dot over what you used to use will decrease your distance on almost all irons, especially decreasing it when applying spin that you would normally apply with whatever ball you used to use. neutral shots might be longer, but any spin will exaggerate the distance loss.

You just need to remap them.

It hurts my heart to hear this. What I know is that there are many balls here to choose from and so many that I dislike for me, and how they react to my timing and the way I approach our many different shot types for particular results as I see them. I haven't missed playing all the different balls and find myself sold on the Nike line-up excepting any that offer 3.0 or less on pace. But the Nike balls, in my view, are extremely refined and react with drama with even extremely small changes in spin and distance, both reacting/counteracting noticeably to each other. This is magnified even more so with their highest 3 level balls, They are very sensitive. Nevertheless, I still feel crummy that your experience with the RZN 92's are so dismal. Perhaps you can suggest a way for us to get back to good.

Did you answer the question about spin? How much?

Because I remember SP talking about using VERY little or NO spin on some of the equipment. ** ( except flop and punch)

p.s. ditto on the clear your browser etc etc. indeed.

But SP if I presume correctly, you're not using FBS all the time, and the examples show FBS, and if I remember high spin irons + high spin balls + FBS can cause huge deviations (as Icon suggested*).

** Well, that is a great presumption. Spin wise, I use about 2 pixel BS with driver- I vary with 3 wood- Almost never with irons- Almost never with wedges except flop and punch which is mostly full BS.....

Ferocious spin potential with high level clubs. Exact mapping with each half dot of spin movement considered a big deal is needed, and extra wind appreciation within that to really get the potential.  From what you have said so far that looks likely the main issue, and yes always a good idea to clear cache with a purchase.

In my opinion, RZNs are for...surgeons.

As SP says, the minimum amount of spin change could turn a perfect approach to a mediocre one. If you misding, things get worse. A while ago tried to count the whole range of spin on a ball. Well...there are 15 different spin levels from full back spin to full top spin. In a low spin ball does not make much difference if you place your spin on 9 instead of 10 point. In RZNs is...bye bye!

If you like them, the important thing to do is to map them using more or less every time the same amount of spin (usually players use full back spin shots for more control). That means in a facewind situation you have to add 20 or even 30-35 yds more on your stroke.
