ARE YOU STILL OUT THERE WABBIT HUNTING?
KEEP AT IT -- YOU CAN DO THIS!

THERE IS ALSO A CAPTION CONTEST RUNNING HERE WITH A PRIZE THAT YOU CAN ENTER AS WELL -- SOME GREAT ENTRIES BUT THIS ONE IS STILL WIDE OPEN RE. A STANDOUT WINNER. JUST SAYING

    THE WABBIT HUNTING CAPTION CONTEST:

Fill in the word bubbles in the image below and the most clever as judged by Team Yancy will win a nice prize! Post your entries right here in the main thread please.

The guys you see here (from left to right) are MisterWGT, WGTdbloshoe, & WGTicon. They appear to be very busy with something on the 18th hole on Pebble Beach!

    WillyBigg:
I know it could be a toss up who's closest to the bunny but that was my 1st shot. Now I can go ahead with my next shot to get even closer. Am I looking at it all wrong or am I closer?

Unique situationables you got here Willy. Understand your questioning what to do.

By just looking with eyes, and using the 3 trees as "markers", it seems that Jason is closer to the Wabbit. The yardage may change with the "contour" of the course - WGT is so real that it takes slope/uneven lies into its measurements to mimic the course best as possible.

But -- that's just with my eyes to screen. Last time we ran a shootout like this, it was so close I had to 100x magnify the screenshots and count pixels to find one person was two pixels closer than the next best. True story. I am cereal.

If you stop now --- You get entered into 2 groups that will win prizes. The One Shot Club and The Basic "RabbitCap" Challenge. You can only win one prize, but the odds would be much higher if you stopped where you are. But, maybe you are the type who wants to try and grab that glory. I get that.

So -- that's the longest non-answer ever, I wish there was a definitive way to go and such but I thinks its your choice to go for it all or be happy that you at minimum "placed" in two of the many competitions we gots going on here.

Happy to reply to anything else you are pondering -- or even some back and forth on this if you see it different than I be doing right nows. I am going to ask some WGT veterans if they have any opinions/insight on this one.

Good Luck With Whatever Way You Go Friend!

Thx for the advise, I will stay with that shot then. I trust your judgement 100% & no complaints whatever your decision.

    Thanks for the fun

To clarify that ramble --- wanted to add that a player cannot find the Wabbit with one shot, do a screencap for that competition, and then continue so that 2 challenges are met with the same "outing". Yes, its something difficult to enforce. However, my experiences with the WGT Community over almost 6 years is that honesty prevails over the other up here. Sure, there is always somebody. But overwhelmingly, the people up here are genuine and real people about stuff like that.

    Sincerely, Yancy

    Right on Yancy!!

I tried a few times and the almighty wabbit eluded me! Although I did catch a glimpse of his cotton tail :)

    Thanks Patricia! Happy Easter

Now I took a break and went out into the thicket and such on YancyLand using all the skills I learned from Elmer Fudd this weekend. Could have gone worse. With that adventure, and the arrival of 6pm PST - the Easter Bunny Challenge is now officially closed for entries into the assorted challenges we ran in this fun event. Thanks to all the WGTers for their participating and making this event a success!

Thanks to the staff at WGT Media for all the excellent help as always, and a thank you nod to MisterWGT and Yu Chiang for understanding our goofiness & letting us run with it!

    TOMORROW EVENING --- 6PM PST
