Change of Elevation

  Hi all,

  I've been playing for a couple of weeks and have gotten to the point where I can shoot par or under on most holes.  However, I'm having issues with some shots they have extreme change of elevation.  For instance, on hole 2 at Bethpage the approach shot is about 130 yds and up hill about 30 yds.  I keep either leaving the ball short or hitting the ball long.  I'm having real issues getting it to land on the green.  Any advice?

  What I usually do is use a big club and i put a lot of back spin on it, but I dont swing it at full power. You could try using a wood and change the swing type to a punch shot but i have never tried that before. Hope this helped!
