  Okay, help me understand this score.  The low score from the front 9 of the 2016 Virtual U.S. Open is 31.  Divide that by 9 and you get an average of 3.5 feet from the pin all for 9 holes.  Physically impossible.  I've also noticed that the trophies for the top scores are always the same.  Are these dummy scores posted by WGT to avoid real winners?

  Hey RenoRick, your post implies that the player would be putting within 3.5 feet at all times, which would be crazy. The truth is that 31 divided by 9 is 3.44 which would only give the average number of strokes per hole with no indication of yardage at all.

  They aren't all that impossible if you play over and over and take notes.   I can see how you'd think that though since you are gaming the starter equipment.

  That makes way more sense. I want to point out real quick that it's pretty early on the west coast.

  I'm pleased you caught that.  My head was trying to get round how a stroke play score could be directly related to distance from the hole.

  Don't be silly.  Minus 0.1 feet would be physically impossible, any positive number is obviously possible.

  Assuming you're referring to the event from the link above, did you look at the person's profile and overall stats? His overall stats are outstanding. 
  
  There's nothing implausible at all that someone with stats that good would do that well in a CTTH event.

  i have played CTTH and scored an average of 5-6 ft many times and i am only an average legend.  so i am sure there are many who can score an avg of 3 ft from the hole.

  after checking the stats i realized my position ended up at 8761 something

  Hmm pretty humbeling experience, i think.

  or is it a exellent 8761 th position, kind of pointless information if you dont know what the last position was?

  The list shows only the top 250 positions.

  Oh well was fun anyway.

  ^^^^^ I'm impressed that 9000 people actually play this game...probably 3 times that many dead accounts though.
