I'm about to upgrade my irons and I'd like to know the difference between TaylorMade SpeedBlade Iron Set (L75+) and RocketBladez Iron Set (L79+).

Apparently they look exactly identical performance-wise as shown below.

It indicates they both got the same meter speed, but I know from my experience that different clubs got different meter speeds despite the same speed number shown.

[Question 1] If that's the case with these two, which one has slower meter speed?

If you know any further information on their precision, trajectory, spin, etc. such as which one bites better on the green or more accurate from certain circumstances and so on, I'll be more than delighted to hear them.

One more question before I go...

[Question 2] Which clubs (drivers, woods and irons) have the same meter speed as Cleveland 588 Wedges?

I first thought any club with MS 3.5 would be all the same, but as I said, after my experiment with various drivers, woods, irons, wedges & putters, they all seem to have different meter speeds.

My reflexes are still OK to ding it or come very close even with my MAX Precision Irons, but I am so sick and tired of dealing with completely different meter speed almost every shot I play. This is a game so it's supposed to be fun, NOT a labour.

Looking forward to hearing your comments and opinions.

Nobody among all those 20 million users of WGT knows a thing about my questions and is able to provide me a decent answer??!! Amazing...

Maybe I'm being too sophisticated with a mere game. :/

It seems that the only difference is with the price.

that ^^^. I haven't used either set so, in the absence of opinions, it's probably best to simply rent first?..give them both a test drive and you will have your answer. That said, it's odd there would be such a difference in price for the same specs.

Amen to that CT. It ranks right up there with the Max iron set with the 1.5 meter speed, which I rank as our #1 oddity.

Remove the dead accounts, the multi-accounts and the non-participants, and you are left with a very small fraction who actually play this game on a regular basis. And an even smaller fraction of those who contribute to this forum.

might be no-one who can answer Simon, if buy the l75 irons then not going to buy the same irons 4 levels later.

I can say had l75 irons for 15 levels and they are good if not hitting a pixel late ;)

You pay a premium for clubs earlier on wgt,so i'd hazard a guess that they are exactly the same. The SLDR driver i have l79, goes same as black one l89 in all alt games, but 500cr more.

Exactly, they're basically the same clubs. As you're at level 78, I'd wait just a little longer and get the level 79s.

Back when a lot of players were making Legend tier in 3-4 months of playing many found themselves coming up short . They felt that WGT should open up the Pro Shop because they had made Legend . This is why you see so many clubs at the lower levels with top specs . They cost more at the lower levels which is the price you pay for trying to short cut your way to the top .

So the only difference between the clubs is levels and price . Other than that they perform the same . Wait and get the L79+Bladez they play great especially on the sloped greens . As you tier up you will need clubs with High trajectory and spin to handle the faster greens .They can take you all the way to Legend with a good driver and 3 wood .

As usual, Lonnie makes perfect sense ^^^.
