  which Callaway ball are you using cos mine go fine

  Mine go fine too, as do most of the other ones. Again I see nothing in advantage.

  tried both z and s over 3 weeks (yes you do need to learn them)

  all i can say is they messed with my head..not using again

  I really like the Callaway ball, seems to work fine for me. Not other ball can generate as much back spin as the Callaway, plus they seem to get good loft as well. That comes in handy all the time especially at holes like Bethpage 5 and 9 and some of the other where you need the ball to hold the green. As a matter of fact I  just made bird at Kiawah 9 and without the callaway I don't think I do. Any other ball hit from 160 yards away would have rolled to far away from the hole for a reasonable birdie chance. How can that not be an advantage ? Of course it takes time to learn to play with the ball, like with any new piece of equipment. I still screw up all the time by using too much backspin, but I'm getting a feel for it. And so far the benefits far outweigh any negatives. Also the meter speed is very helpful if you don't like to fast a meter like me.

  I like these balls but they do make your meter a bit more skippy than usuall. But when they are smooth they are awsome.

  But they do have a mind of their own with long club yardage, sometimes you gain yards sometimes you don't (terrain taken into consideration aswell). And sometimes you get 1 yard of backspin and when you are hoping for 1 yard of backspin they give you 4!  But they do stop your balls where you want them most of the time.  Pity they bug your meter more than normal.

  When I purchase 4 & 1/2 dots of distance, I expect to notice a change. I see nothing, maybe shorter. For me, the balls are garbage.

  You can see the difference with driver in distance, usually the legend ball goes ~5 yards further off the tee than the lvl 35 i(z).  Can't really comment on iron/wedge distance because I only used them for a few rounds.  From those few rounds the thing I noticed was how much offline slightly mishit shots were going, for me personally that outweighed the benefits of being 5 yards closer off the tee.   Would possibly consider going for the legend ones if the durability were on par with the level 35 balls, but I see no reason to pay more credits for roughly equal performance.

  Got my first backspin eagle today using the Cal Legend Z. It has taken a long time to ajust to these balls. I love the way you can float a 3 wood shot on to a green. I also think they are the longrst ball out there. Still a work in progress. One other thing I noticed is that the seem to roll truer on the geens, I seem to be making more long putts.

  WOW! I am not sure why you have such bad luck, it is the best ball they have come out with.
