Clash Points?

  From Clash 21 - Back of Congo.

  Birds are worth 5, 12, or 25 points.

  Pars are worth 1, 5, or 12 points.

  So the bogey on 18 is better than par on 16? Small consolation for the ball in the drink.

  Rumour has it that this is to underline that these events aren't skill based. Today, it's a test, next time, random points may be valid for all, including the zero points which have been around for 18 events now.

  I bet this was not your 1st clash round of your session. I believe clash scoring gets confused on which course you are actually playing while you are playing, therefore the weird points.

  If you are really curious, someone might be able to figure which course the clash thought you were playing. You have 9 hints based on the points the scorecard claims you received:

  #10 par 4

  #11 par 3

  #12 par 4

  #13 par 4

  #14 par 4

  #15 par 5

  #16 par 3

  #17 par 4

  #18 par 4

  Every time I have had a similar screwed up point total on the scorecard, I've found that the correct point total is actually corrected when added to previous point totals.

  Still these bogus point total scorecards do not give players much confidence in WGT.

  Not sure, but if it was the second, then the first was on the same course, back of Congo.

  Just had another interesting occurrence with cc clash scorecard points.

  

  This was my 1st cc clash round of the day.

  My scorecard was correct thru the 13th hole. Then on the 14th tee, the game froze and I refreshed my browser to allow me to continue playing. After I completed the 14 hole, the scorecard points were screwed up for holes #11 & 12.

  Even though the scorecard shows I earned 101 points, only 87 points were added to my cc clash totals. 87 points is the correct number of points I should have earned from the above scorecard.

  Seems rather easy for WGT to get confused on points per hole displayed on the scorecard.
