problem updating equipment

    I rented a club I was thinking about purchasing and it has expired.  Trying to update my

    equipment but the machine won't allow me to save my updates.

    Having same problem.. Rental expired. It won't let me re-equip my prior equipment. So can't start a round.

    Re-rent the clubs again and when it comes time to equip them, put your originals back. The rental period still has a few hours to go.

    I had the same problem yesterday and the fix was to replace the rentals before they expired. Unfortunately, the 3 wedges I was trying did expire and I refused the sale offer when they ran out. After returning them I put the original wedges back but that save option wasn't there.

    I did the log out thing and when I logged back in I got the expired rental message but still wasn't able to put the originals back, no matter what I did. Lucky for me the free rental was still on so I re-rented the wedges and instead of equipping them, I put my originals back. Problem solved.

    I still get the "you have rentals to equip" but I just close it.

    To late rental period is over.. Would cost me 1k credits to fix this way. :(

    That's the crucial point:

    Make other changes in the bag to evoke the green SAVE button, save and then get a go at your desired combo.

    Can the changes be made on the mobile app like we could with the stand bag bug?

    My problem is a bit different, but probably related. I rented the L101 Method. (Not part of free rental weekend, normal level up option.)

    Played it and was impressed. Bought it. In playing I noted the default 15 foot gauge meter as opposed to the 10 of the level 77 version.

    Gameclient says I've successfully equipped the L101, but when I play, I have the 10 foot gauge. I don't want to sell the L77 yet, as I've made that mistake before. Bought clubs sometimes aren't as good as the rental. 

    I"ve tried the standbys of clearing cache and switching to the Starter putter. All to no avail.

    You can use the mobile app to update your equipment if you have access to a smart phone or tablet. Otherwise you should contact Customer Service if you are unable to update your equipment after a rental expires.

    There are two versions, M1 and M2, of this putter, with different scales. You picked the wrong one probably.

    I heard that CS might solve such problems on request.
