Hitting out of the sand and hit an almost perfect shot?

Try the same shot with same distance and sand cover on another course and be very short or overshoot the green.  Very little consistency.

Just an example, but sand and shots from rough are all inconsistent.   A nice game but it could be great.

Have you ever played real golf, on a variety of golf courses? Each course having different types of sand and different types of grass?

Word ! Real golf courses aren't consistent.

Why would you expect consistency from an online game.

Note too that the lie in sand or rough is a range on WGT.

Excuse me if I dismiss your comment as nonsense but you use an EZ swing wedge and don't carry a full set of clubs. These facts render your opinions completely invalid.

Your tone could be a bit better but your points are valid.  Changed the wedges and meter and will keep trying to improve.  A factor that can't be improved is at early 60's the hand-eye coordination is not what it was.

    Thanks

Don't use the age cop out! And that is just what it is. A cop out! I will be 70 in a little over 2 months and for the most part I time the ding pretty well.  I don't  hit it every time but then again no one does.  And better balls that slow down the meter will help.

Yes, as we get older our eye-hand coordination does diminish somewhat, but within that limitation eye-hand coordination CAN be improved - if you work on it.

I'm 64 years old, but while I may not be as consistent or sharp as a younger man I can still compete at a high level playing WGT. I think a large part of that is because I don't use any excuses.

    Your mileage may vary.

Go with normal clubs, even if you regularly miss the ding by an inch they'll still play better than those EZ Swing monstrosities.

    Ditch them, ditch them now.

    And never go back.

The x-factor randomness algorithm is the best thing about WGT. Without it the game would be far too easy.
