Buying pre-owned clubs

  On a serious note... well, semi-serious... you can rent clubs for 24 hours to try them out.  Downside is that the rent does not apply to the purchase price if you buy them.

  So how does a guy go about renting?

  Hi Jeff... go to the Pro Shop, find a club you want (that is allowable at your level), click on it and at the bottom of the page you open there will be 3 rectangular buttons: Buy Now, Give as Gift and Rent Me.

  You've got 24 hours to try it out.  So tell the wife and kids you'll be unavailable for a bit, cancel that tire rotation, break out the 6-pack and stock up on nachos.
