I am looking to start the first it hopefully many tournaments I will run on this site. My future plan is to create a "mock" PGA type format, with weekely / by weekely events ( depending on how it goes ) with something similar to the fed ex cup system through out, with a "playoff" at the end. I understand this is a huge endevor, that it why I am starting out small, with one tournament, The Peoples Open.
The plan for this tournament is as follow , 4 rounds just like the PGA, making the cut after the first 2. We will of course have to use 9 hole rounds at bethpage for this tournament, since that is what WGT gives us as options right now.
The tournament pairings will be like the PGA as well, groups of 3 in the first 2 rounds, and twosomes there after, being re paired after the 3rd round.
The deadline to enter this first tournament is Wed Aug. 19 at 12 noon eastern time. I understand thats only 26 hours away from my original post, but like I said I wanted to start with something, and grow with it. However many players we have We will go with, ( I will attempt to fill up threesomes unless impossible)

As to playing matches, I will have parings out the afternoon of the deadline close ( wed afternoon/ evening) then everyone will have till sat morning exact time TBA to complete round 1 & 2, the cut will be made ( -10 from the leader) and as of right now im thinking 48 hrs to get the 3rd round played, and another 48 for the second.
