Terrible swing meter and ball stuttering

  I am giving up...The swing meter is horrible....The ball stutters on the green all the time..I dont know whats wrong but its taken all the fun out of WGT for me...???????  EJ Barney

  The swing meter plays on your computer, not on WGT's servers.

  Consequently, your computer is the first place to focus your attention when seeking a solution to a jerky meter or the playing of game motion graphics.

  A jerky swing meter usually indicates your computers CPU is busy doing tasks unrelated to playing WGT.

  Read that thread Barney and you will definitely improve your meter. You may also find changing to another browser helps too, I like many others use Maxthon and while the meter is not smooth 100% of the time, it is 99%. 

  Many of us had the same troubles and with good advice have reduced meter woes to the point of not worrying about it anymore .

  What do you mean when you say the ball stutters on the green? The animation of the ball rolling on the green?  Or something else?

  Whatever you do, don't make sure your computer isn't the problem.

  If you want to be a gamer, make sure the only thing you have any control over, your computer, is very well maintained, doesn't run hot, isn't clogged up with temp Internet file crap (cookies, apps, auto fill stuff, yada, yada, yada) , and doesn't have a butt-load of applications running in the background.

  Hi JS - This thread is all about jerkiness in the Swing Meter, which causes difficulty hitting the DING.

  ....said that you thought hitting the DING would make the ball go in the hole - basically meaning every time, regardless of where you aim or how hard you hit the ball.

  The 2 things are quite different - and I have responded to your other post with a host of putting information to help you out.

  Meter issues manly caused by computer/browser

  Bring up your task bar:  Check the amount of servers you have running in the background most of the time you'll be supersized with the amount crap what is running, You can turn these on and of.

  You can also download Razor Game Booster It will bring up a list of all serves you have running and will switch them of while playing and restore them once you have finished.

  I personally use MSI Dragon as it is app pre-installed and can also control everything via MSI system manager 1 button press everything is set to max gaming performance.

  WGT Browser based game you need a good fast browser )each to there own on this)

  Don`t care about peoples/players rank focus on your game Rank is not everything and just because they are a champion doesn`t make them the best in the game or better then any1 else.

  Ever since WGT allowed CC's to set baby tee rounds player's tier means nothing. I've played champions who couldn't hit a bull in the A$$ with a banjo.

  Players who get there the hard way are very obvious, they've got game!
