              One silent, one written.

           Too slow, You're quittin'.

The Silent Brilliant. The Witty Written a fine sign of never forgettin'.

No Rush......One line reminds me of one kind of sonic smitten. Ironic that this song fits in my Cat's mittens. Old Globe......Old Globe. No Rush, just the first to gimme the lyrics to get in.

Couldn't imagine strangers to sit in.......

You have the stage, though......And let this one begin.

Am I miles out with this? -

If by any chance I'm right, give the prize to someone else Dave. I'm not greedy.

All the world's indeed a stage

          And we are merely players

            Performers and portrayers

             Each another's audience.............

                         The underlying theme

    Limelight indeed.

              Too brilliant.

MBaggese gets his and PaulTon is the best of the best.

                         and done.

~txzdave~                  (and thank you mkg335 for the inspiration)

Just as an aside (Willy liked asides, ya know) my favorite bluesman hails from Texas...Sam Lightnin' Hopkins.

Like your reference to Robert Johnson, too.

I am just a old troll , I may not play or post much , But I do see what goes on .

Now for a true story ..

At one time I lived in a town called DeSoto ,  to the north was a place called Oakcliff .  It was a bad part of the hood to go to .  A friend told me one night that we were going to a club to see something special ,   We head out to this place and it is not the safest place to be .

We got to see this young guy play ,,  His name was Stevie Ray  something
