  Unless something has changed, the best way to see contour, from any distance, is to move the green triangle directly on the hole and go to putter mode. It will give you the best guess and idea available. Fact of life.

  One other small change I would like to see is during chips, when the flag is still in, the ball can still go in the hole. I can't count how many times during chips my ball has bounced off the flagstick and rolled away. I'm not talking about when the ball slams into the flagstick, but when it just bumps it. Or, within a certain distance of the green, give the option to pull the stick.

  Jeff, you can always remove the pin by clicking ther pin icon top right on your screen. The ball sometimes goes in with the pin in also, but not always :)
