This seems like great news. I hope we see something come from it sooner than later.

A bit naive ? Then again you are mr opposit.

It will not change a thing, it is still a flash based game, and flash based shots.

For a perfect meter I still need to clear pr. 9 holes on chrome based browsers

Naive perhaps but it still sounds better than nothing new happening for the company. No idea what you mean by "mr opposite" but  I'll take it as compliment anyway. ;)

P..S. Try the mobile version of WGT for a perfect meter. gl

From Dante's Inferno - written slightly before WGT, but applies perfectly...

This seems like good news to me although I sympathise with all the skepticism. Seems like best case would be for an infusion of money followed by more game development (and bug fixes).  14 million users (per the press release) is an impressive number. I remember the days when we got two new courses per year.  TWO!!  lol.

    Cleworthy:

14 million users (per the press release) is an impressive number.

I think what that is actually saying is that 14 million have joined WGT since it went online back in 2008. I think what it isn't saying is that the vast majority of those who have signed up no longer play WGT, or only play only infrequently.

I would be amazed if there were 100,000 world wide who play WGT daily.

We can kind of gauge numbers by how many players regularly participate in these forums.

Regular posters here in the forums number in the couple to few of hundred with 'churn' among the individuals. At a ratio of 50 lurkers to each poster daily views of the forums would be less than 10,000 a day.

Extrapolating from that is where I come up with "I would be amazed if there were 100,000 world wide who play WGT daily."
