I have 5 browsers on my machine. Each is better than the others in some area. I use Comodo Dragon to play WGT.

There must be some way to temporarily disable your virus protection, unless this is at work and you haven't the authority.

FYI imo opera is a catch and miss on the meter, tried them all and settled on Dragon. makes no difference what I run because I have stunk up this game for 6 yrs

Try version 12.17 Opera not the newer versions.  For me anyway it works pretty good.  SRWare Iron is another that works good.

Like gary said Iron is good but if you don't like pepper flash and want Java support you will need to find an older version. Iron like all Chrome based browsers now use pepper flash and don't support Java.

Which is why I use a very old version of Comodo Dragon to play WGT. And why my daughter uses a very old version of Iron to play Pogo.

I use the latest version of Chrome with pepper flash and it runs smooth.  And you don't need Java to play WGT.

I use Chrome, also.....sometimes. (PPAPI) Pepperflash is disabled and NPAPI (adobe flash) is enabled.

Correct on the Java. I wouldn't turn a pc on that had Java (or any Oracle product) on it. Risky enough having adobe flash on a pc.

My go to browser is IceDragon. It has an add-on that completely blocks (or removes every 2 seconds) all swf, sol, and shared objects (those should-be-illegal super-cookies that have to be manually found and removed).

Just saw this piece not long after my post.

You must have an older version of Chrome because NPAPI is not allowed on newer versions.
