Can we please extend the deadline past 12 hours.  I signed up for a ready go last night.  There were 27 people signed up at the time.  I played a few holes last night and was in the process of finishing this morning when the "deadline passed".

Here's the thing.  I was on the 18th green tapping in the final shot when it happened.  I was literally putting my last stroke when it cancelled and I was -7 at the time putting for birdie.  OMFG OMFG OMFG.

If the deadline can't be moved, can there be a 1 hour or 30 minute warning or something.  I had no idea the tourney was even filled let alone 12 hours had passed. Grrrr

    Hi,

Actually, your deadline may have passed earlier but on 18th hole it does the 'check' with server before round is submitted. That's why you see that error while it may have expired on the 10th hole.

    Sorry:)

I think I'm just mad because it was going to be the best round I have ever played and literally as the ball was struck on the final shot, it stopped and said my time was expired.  I was like, "Whaaat?"  It was soooo close.  I just wanted to post that score.... and not say to myself "What did I just spend the last 40 minutes doing?".  :)

Now that I have figured out how to check the status of existing tournaments and see how much time is remaining, I shouldnt have that problem again.  I still would love to see a timer in game so that if I notice there is only a couple of minutes left, I know to hurry it up and get done.

Do I understand correctly that you can only play once all 50 places are filled and you have 12 hours from then to complete your round?

If so would 24 hours not be fairer? Given that this is a worldwide game it's quite possible to sign up for a tournament with loads of places still open and when you get up next morning discover you've a few minutes left to play 18 holes.

Or can you play you play your own round as soon as you sign up? The rules seem to say not but this would make these competitions more accessable.

    Madden,

Same happened to  me twice.  It will let you go through the whole round until final shot is struck.  I knew I was cutting it close in one.  The other I did as a test.  First time it happened I was literally about 30 seconds late posting.  Played a 9 holer in about 12 minutes.  The second I purposely teed off just before the RG expired.  It let me go all the way through the round, then as soon as I clicked on last putt I got message that tournament had expired.

    Mainz,

You can play the round as soon as you sign up.  You won't be able to see the leaderboard until the tourney is filled though.

Jake - are you saying that you can see the leaderboard once 50 players have entered even if you haven't played your game?  Or must you have completed your round to see the leaderbaord (as well as the 50 players entered)?
