again this post ran a bit off to the left ?

the first response , answered my question , my shots will be less right /left

so the deviation/circle of precision will be better, did not think there would be any difference in distance though , both have 4.5 spin ?

no biggie there, I love maping new irons

p.s I had the 96 versa, and I prefer the 94 nike by miles

    YankeeJim:

Hmm, 4000 credits for a putter vs 4000 credits for irons that can reduce that 11 ft to pin. The short game isn't what changes that number, the approaches are and that's where, IMO, he'll get better value in the long run by going with better irons.

I'm an average player, but have spent a small fortune trying to be a good player. I agree with both Jims on this. I have tried every putter in the pro shop. None of them can read speeds or break. If you are average at reading the greens, spending big $$ on the putter won't much matter (trust me). If you read greens well, then there is still diminishing returns by upgrading. The level 70 Versa is as high as I would go.

Many very good putters of the ball, Borigard and others, still use the $4 spyder, or other inexpensive models..some even use starters. As the old saying goes, it's the Indian and not the arrow.

agree with you there, and Jim was 100% correct.

The  irons make your putts closer to the pin.

anything above the lvl 70 versa is just candy.

    7.000 more xps to go

p.s Good to hear from you again Jimbog

    let's play again soon bud.

Not a bad choice, it should be everyones after lvl 70.

For me it shaved of shots.

the Nike 94 was  a later perfect upgrade , maybe because how I aim and putt.

+1 there.  It was the first and last putter I will buy.

Most important club in my bag, and by far the oldest. 'Nuff said.

I bought the 97 nike irons.

Minimal difference between them and the rsi2 ones.

    same distance to the millimeter.

left right deviation is maybe 1.5 feet  on a 200 meter shot.

1.5  feet comes in handy, so for me worth the upgrade.

not a game changer at all.

p.s the 96 versa , is bought and booted again, I prefer the 94 nike putter.
