It would be nice if we could equip our bags with more than 1 type of ball.  I understand the need to limit the clubs.  If WGT wants this virtual golf world to mimic the real world then there should be NO limit on types of golf balls in the bag.

IF WGT CAN TAKE A BALL AFTER HITTING IT IN THE WATER, THEN IT SHOULD SURE AS HELL SHOULD ALLOW US TO EQUIP MORE THAN 1 TYPE OF BALL.

I second that emotion. We spend good money on Callaways and Tour-SDs, etc. So just because we lost our last Callaway, for example, in the middle of a round shouldn't mean that we should be punished and have to use those useless freebie stones instead of pulling a Tour-SD out of the bag to finish the round.  We should be able to use any 'premium' ball we have previously purchased.

Yes,I must agree..my virtual bag's getting like my real one,a real mess..single balls of all kinds in there cause I like to carry more than one with me when I play a match (even if the ball is the same type,if it's a different colour you can't pack it)..it would be great to be able to use any of the other  balls in our bags that, after all, we've already paid for.

Do the rules of golf allow you to change ball type during a game though? I am not sure that they do. So it would seem that WGT have it right.

This has probably already been said somewhere else but i don't believe its a functional issue with WGT but a procedural one. I am under the impression that the strict rules of golf say that you must complete a full round with the same type and colour of ball (I don't even know if you can change the number on it) and so WGT are adhering to that as closely as possible.

If you run out of a certain type of ball during an official formal competition (such as on the PGA Tour) I believe you are deemed to be unable to complete the round and you post a N/R.

Not saying I agree with the ruling but I believe thats why you default to the unlimited ball when you run out of one type/colour rather than go to an other type/colour as you would do in most of the amateur comps we all play in real life.

Sorry if i copyrighted someone elses stuff ALEE (shut up).  Who cares if the "rules of golf" dont allow a ball change.

Im not saying you can switch balls throughout the match, im saying when we run out of one type, it should equip you with another type of ball instead of the default horsesh1t balls.

Easy solution, make sure you have enough balls before starting a round. Have you ever gone to the real golf course with only 1-2 balls? It doesn't matter how good you are, mistakes happen so always be prepared.
