Would WGT be willing to let someone other than your own people photograph courses? Maybe some of the players that have the ability and the equipment might be able to help with it. If they would do it for free to help out or pay them a small compensation in money or give them free stuff from the game and recognition for their help here on WGT. Another suggestion, would WGT be willing to start a “New Course Fund”, where players could give money to you such as a donation in the amount as small as $5.00 each to help defray some of your costs. Don’t know how many are playing here, but what if say there were 100,000 people that gave you $5.00 each. I’m sure the players would be willing to do that to get new courses faster. It would be the same as buying new balls or clubs, with new courses as the thing they buy and would benefit them more in the long run and would for sure make most of us here happy. Of course there will be pitfalls with these suggestions and you would have to prove that you would use the money for that purpose before some would help. But you guys are the smart ones, I’m just an old man with thoughts running through my old brain. lol. Thx for a great game and listening to my suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestion....wouldn't that be fun? I would absolutely sign up to go photograph courses!
At this point, however, the issue isn't in taking the photos, it's all the other stuff. Accurately mapping 2D images to a 3D physics model takes a good amount of time, for example.
But I really like your idea, you should post to the Feature Suggestion forums where other people can comment on it. I'm sure you'd find lots of people who'd agree it sounds like fun :)
