    MichaelStroke:

Apparently LezFactor thinks that if it doesn't happen in stroke, it doesn't happen.

    That's why she'll remain mediocre.

Gee, that seems to sum up the way the forums are now.

Whatever happened to the witty linguists Mark? This is more like a a first grade kid trying to insult using a limited vocabulary. Not specifically aimed at Mr Stroke, but the forums in general.

    Elevator....going down......

Thanks and yes, I do believe I am doing ok, considering that I don't play here that long. However, as I play hardly anything other than bracket tournaments, due to too many disconnects in orther game modes,- my 49 top ten finishes are probably not as remarkable considering that the brackets only feature 16 players each time :-)

The top money earlier (who shows in excess of 130 birdies If I recall correctly) also has a longest drive exceeding 470 yards! now that made me wonder: let's say you play the longest driver available currently and have a 30 mph back wind on a dry fairway,- you still won't get to 470 yards!!!!!

So how is that possible? am I missing something here (are there secret super drivers one gets at "champion level"? It takes the fun out of the progress to play better if I am not convinced some people are using some questionable "assistance" with their game....

I guess that you have never heard about World Long Drive Championship where the best of the best exceed 500yds mark in real life.

Mike Dobbyn, Worlds Longest Drive Champion(551 yards), hitting the golf ball 161 mph. This was taken at the Celebrity Pro-AM Memorial Event for Danny Gans to benefit The First Tee of Southern Nevada hosted by Rita Rudner located at Wildhorse Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada.

I could have just ignored that post but it is so ridiculous I have to reply :-) ... we re talking about a computer online game here. with set equipment, wind speed and so on. It's not about an individuals swing or added muscle power. Yes I do know about the long drive championships,- but hello,- I am talking about a game ... some people have difficulties to differentiate between real live and online games :-)

Holes in one are not that hard to get.  I'm up to 20 myself.

Your stat indicate you don't have 20 hole in one but only have 3 hole in one, michael stroke

Maybe it's time to stop the ego, it's not useful

To be fair -- the stats only count HIOs scored in Ranked Rounds. His 20 will include everything scored in Matchplay, Altshot etc..   maybe even the CTTH aces from normal tees. Clearly he has saved a lot more than 3 legit HIOs in replays -- so I think it is reasonable to assume that 20 is the real number as long as you accept the non-RR aces.

Yes maybe you're right even if for me i count only the hole in one in the rank round format.

But still when we read michael stroke, to much ego involve in general, i still think it's not useless to be like that, or maybe he don't see that.

    SweetiePie:

In reality The Ace Factor is a known and outstanding player, and has been so for over 6+ years....it's a simple fact of life. And her real game is perhaps better.

    ~ SP ~

Lily, I agree that Ace's golf game is solid. Additionally, she is probably an honest player who doesn't cheat, or have multi accounts, or poach, or commit any of the other sins people get accused of in here.

That said, she routinely takes "creative license" when interpreting posts to support errant conclusions based on her personal view of the author, vice what was actually written. While it's appropriate to simply apologize over a misunderstanding, she instead adopts an aggressive/sarcastic tone, and cherry picks lines from posts to prove she's "right" in her assertions.

Hmm..tough one. Only joke I know that would pass moderation is of the knock-knock variety..and you've all heard it. I could recite a few clean passages from "There was an old man from Nantucket" ?

I can't decide which is funnier; the two forum rats lurching around banging off the walls of Acefactor's maze or the forum rat who isn't even part of the experiment scrambling for relevance by banging on about his CC's collection of glorious replays.

Yet again she makes a short succinct post and the fools rush in to prove her point.

    Top work Ace.
