I know I struggled to get Par or +1 with those clubs. Once I upgraded my putter and driver (Pings), I was able to get to -3 or -4 but that was on amateur. When I moved up to Pro, I had to get a new set of irons to get through Bethpage. With my Ping irons, I was able to throw up 65-67 range scores. Of course, I'm having problems breaking 70 on Tour Pro right now but that's a whole other story.
I guess to really answer your question, I dont think you can score anything decent (70 or under) unless you have at least a driver that hits 245+. Those front bunkers kill you if you're trying to hit a 3W into the greens. You have to be able to go in with a 4I or 5I. Also, the elevated greens are deceiving. I think it's #5 and #14 that are 25+ ft above you on your approach shots and you have to hit the ball 20 yards further than you think.
