My apology to Faterson with my earlier post, and he was right I forgot to add a link for the Pro to submit their scores.  I have added the link now so I hope all is okay.  Thanks very much yo Faterson for pointing that out with me.

Same here. It will be a strange, atypical tournament, but that may be its chief attraction. I mean, it won't really showcase our usual play & abilities, but more our ability to improvise. I've long since forgotten how to play the starter clubs; I've only played the longer-distance balls ever since they were introduced many weeks ago, etc. etc. That means, my timing & measuring for each shot will probably be way off compared to what it is usually. But, that may be what will make this tourney so interesting.

That's funny, you might as well be twins, given that your stroke play averages after 4.5 months of play are nearly identical.

This might be the TV shot of the tournament... The cameraman fell asleep & the only way to get a non-crooked view at the birdie putt on Kiawah, hole 17, was... from across the river!    As everyone has perhaps noticed, there are occasional putts where the non-crooked view is not from behind the hole, but from the player's view... Alas, in this case, the player's view was a long-distance view, too... Clicking the thumbnail below will enlarge it.

If I had the Spider, or even better, the fabulous Ping Redwood putter, I assure you my overall score would have been veeeryyyy different!    It was just horrendous, after months of playing with putters using the 15ft (or 24ft at most) swing meter, to have to play with an imprecise putter that uses the 30ft swing meter. I made a couple of 20+ft birdies over the 18 holes, I think, but missed a large number of sub-5 ft putts, all due to the total lack of practice in recent months with a 30ft swing-meter putter.

    Great match, Sarg14.

Scorecard for front nine had the symmetry of railroad tracks where we were par- for-par till bogey's at the end to close tied at 1 over.

Second nine the opposite with me starting with double and you ending with double and a jumble of pars and birdies between.  It seemed on the last hole no-one  wanted to win.

Thanks to the slider on your 71st stroke for my victory.

    Thanks for a great round.

    Cheers,
