i just reached master lvl by having an avg score of 68...

now everything has gone to crap.....

my tee shots have started to go wrong....my putter seems unable to sink putts like i was doing before to get to 68 and my score has now reached 74 in 2 days :(...

is this normal after reaching master lvl ??

As a master you are hitting from longer tees which makes you have longer approach shots. Also you are putting on faster greens and due to the longer approach shots you have longer putts. Your average raised because when you advance to the next tier your average resets and will fluctuate until you reach saturation for that tier.

played a few rounds today.....the putting it defo a lot harder i had some very weirds putts...ie roll right to left move cursor just outside right of cup hit the ding and missed on the right side....as if the roll was absent...this has happened a lot since turning master....also some of these green cant even exist in real world...i have a lot  that roll 1 way then i miss the putt and end up directly below the cup only yo find on my next putt there is a left to right roll instead fo a straight up hill put...to me thats impossible to happen

the teeing of point don't make any diff when putting....its the within 20ft putts that have all gone haywire now....i think maybe its because as a master i should have a better putter and the rng is acting erractically...

Yep, the jump to Master is the warm-up act. The jump to Legend is the main event. As you move up, you also get tougher pin placements and wind to go along with the faster green speeds and longer holes. It all makes for a period of adjustment.

Faster greens don't just change things in terms of distance, but they give you more break as well. That's really the toughest thing to adjust to.

Checking your bag for the Master level: Your driver and three wood are fine and your irons, while not the best, are OK. Where you need an upgrade is in the wedges. As the holes get longer, your short game becomes more important.

Ditch the hybrid, get some decent wedges, and watch your average come down.
