  One BIG issue with the new 3 wood

  It has a med/high trajectory. I will still use the L89 Bertha due to the high trajectory. It stops like a wedge!

  Although I probably won't buy it I noticed that the new Nike hybrid is the first hybrid to be rated longer than the corresponding 3 iron. All other hybrids in the top sets are rated at 225 just like the 3 iron. The new Nike is rated at 227.

  I thought this curious, myself. I'd consider it over my discontinued R11S but that trajectory kills the idea. A low flying 3W must come in to a green like a freight train. We'll know the next free rental period.  :-)

  They did to the Nikes the same thing as the Berthas .

  L86+Nike 3 wood you give up 3 yards but its a high trajectory same as the L89+ Bertha .

  L99+ Nike 3 wood is Med/High trajectory same as the L97+ Bertha .

  Unlike the Berthas which have a 5 yard differential the new Nike 3 woods have a 12 yard differential .. The L 99+ has a .5 more precision than the L86+ also but thats not a deal breaker for me though . So it looks like I finally got me a better 3 wood as requested . Thanks WGT for the new clubs .

  I did some more checking and the L86+ Nike is the same as the L84+R15 . The L86+ has .5 more forgiveness and a slower meter than the R15 .

  I bought the L86+ and its a good 3 wood . I took it out to The Best of Par 5`s and it did well in low winds with the rock . The meter was smooth and considering the ball got very good yardages so for me its a keeper .

  Just bought the lvl 97 irons, so far the distance is the same as the old nikes, 3 iron might be a few yards longer , more testing needed , but the dings!!!!  I have never heard so many dinged shots in 1 round.

  They fixed the message light! Yay.

  IDK about multiplayer games but in single play, the picture between holes is of PB, 10th tee. I'm hoping this means they eliminated the reverse green view of the next hole during AS games.  I always thought that would really help all the loading issues that started when they introduced that.

  Yep confirmed as YJ said, the "My Messages" green light above the Play Now button works again!

  Ohhhhh, it's the 10th?  I just posted 7th in the club forum.  I guess I need to play that course a bit more often.
